Dr. Krenz provides the following services:

Natalie Krenz, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in older children, adolescents, and adults to help with various mental health struggles. Dr. Krenz was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from UAB and obtained her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida in 2009, where she focused on emotional and behavioral issues as well as assessments. Dr. Krenz participated in further extensive training at Nova Southeastern University Psychology Services Center with a concentration in trauma and completed her postdoctoral training at Citrus Health Network, Inc with a focus on group and individual therapy for severe behavioral disorders in an inpatient setting. Following her postdoctoral training, Dr. Krenz worked in private practice in Washington State for 5 years and at Children’s of Alabama for 6 years, doing assessments and individual therapy with a diverse group of individuals. Her breadth of experience allows Dr. Krenz the ability to work with a variety of mental health struggles across the lifespan, including anxiety, depression, acting out behaviors, trauma, self-harming behaviors, and emotion regulation difficulties. While she primarily adopts a cognitive behavioral approach, including Dialectical Behavior-informed therapy and behavioral management therapy, Dr. Krenz tailors treatment to the needs of the individual and focuses on building good therapeutic relationships. Dr. Krenz also performs assessments for a wide range of issues and concerns.
